A pleasant ramble between the Gulf of Ajaccio and the Gulf of Valinco
The cape between the Golfe d’Ajaccio and the Golfe de Valinco is the perfect setting for a dramatic and picturesque coastal walk with places for swimming.
Starting point: Cascionu, 117m. From the D 155 (Bocca di Filippina, signpost »Capu di Muru«) drive 4.5km on a narrow asphalt road (after 3.5km, ignore the left turning to Cala d’Orzu) until the road ends at the hamlet of Cascionu where you can park.
Height difference: a good 250m.
Grade: easy walk on footpaths sometimes requiring a good sense of direction in places.
Refreshment: bar-restaurants on the Cala d’Orzu.
