A walk onto Calvi’s local mountain
Starting this climb early in the morning, you can enjoy a marvellous view embracing the Gulf of Calvi and also have enough time to pass a few idle hours on the sandy beach at Calvi’s lovely bay.
Starting point: holiday village "Zum störrischen Esel" in Calvi on the main road from Calvi to Ile-Rousse, 1.5km from the centre (20 mins. on foot).
Height difference: 700m.
Grade: quite laborious, especially in the heat, but easy apart from short stretches of scrambling.
Refreshment and accommodation: in Calvi.
