Description
This walk is perfect for families with children and hides several viewpoints over the gulf of Ajaccio and over the gulf of Valincu.
After having parked your car, you should find the starting point of this walk: you must follow the D 55 A road northwards and walk until you reach the village fountain. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead and take the path which climbs gently and which is part of the Mare e Monti Sud – direction of Petrosella circuit. Continue walking until you reach Bocca di a Serra (587 metres above sea level), where the path becomes quite flat and the walk very pleasant.
Keep walking until you come across an old coal shed: you should know that there are many coal sheds in Corsica because coal was produced and exported. At an altitude of 585 metres, the path turns abruptly to the right and begins descending quite steeply: you have almost reached your destination. From Bocca di Gradello you can once again admire the gulf of Ajaccio and have a drink at the bar A Baracca.
Go back along the same itinerary.
