Barcaggio is a charming little fishing port, part of the municipality of Ersa, facing the island of Giraglia at the end of Cap Corse. It counts only 150 inhabitants in winter, but in summer it can accommodate up to 1200 people. Traversed by the "footpath of the customs officials", while at the same time along the beach, Barcaggio welcomes both hikers and lovers of idleness. The trail connects the village to Macinaggio, where shops, business centers, nightclubs, bars, and restaurants, enliven the streets. Barcaggio also has fine local restaurants for gourmets.
