There are very nice swimming areas in the Fium Orbu river near a spot called the Y tree (L'arbre en Y). To reach them you can follow the road to Ghisoni, or the D 343 from Aleria, or the D344 from Ghisonaccia. The Y tree is on the right hand side of the road and cars are often parked nearby. Look for the parked cars to find the trail. You will then cross a relatively narrow bridge 9 meters high before reaching the sunny shores to relax. For thrill seekers, it is possible to jump into the water from the bridge at a height of 6 or 9 meters. The site also offers a natural water slide and several swimming holes.
