Road access
From Ajaccio you must take the D 111 road towards the archipelago of Îles Sanguinaires – you can park your car in the large car park which is located just before the end of the road. You can also reach the starting point of this walk by taking the bus n°5 (Place de Gaulle - la Parata).

Description
The Punta of Parada is located in the north-west of the Gulf of Ajaccio and seems to rise up towards the sea. The archipelago of the Îles Sanguinaires (whose name may be due to the crimson light which makes the rocks red just before sunset) surrounds this small hill. It was here that the Republic of Genoa built a tower to watch over the city's coastline, a tower which is still in excellent condition.
This walk will allow you to discover a little corner of paradise, a little corner of paradise which is located right next to the largest town in southern Corsica. This walk is perfect for everyone because the path is almost flat and there are several shady passages.
After having parked your car you must reach the main path which runs along the littoral: do not turn left but keep walking following the path. You must walk uphill to reach the Punta della Corba: this climb is very easy. Continue following the path until you reach the beach of Petit Capo, where mobile phones do not work. During this walk you will run into many viewpoints: do not forget your camera!
