Description
This walk is very easy and is perfect for families with children, but you should take a good supply of water with you and wear a good pair of shoes. The path is well marked and well maintained. After having parked your car, you should take the orange path which turns into a small path which zigzags between the boulders.
Continue walking until you reach the chapel of St Lawrence, where you can take a short break.
The path continues on a slight slope and passes through a chestnut wood in poor condition. Keep walking and after about ten minutes turn left to take the orange-marked path which at the beginning descends gently and then rather steeply. Then the path begins to climb up until you reach a crossroads where you will find several signposts: follow the one which leads to Zonza. Keep walking until you reach a second crossroads – again follow the signpost towards Zonza.
If you want you can take a break and refresh yourself by taking a swim in the river near the path. On the way down you can see the village of Zonza: continue descending and do not hesitate to cross the streams. The path passes by an abandoned mill, continue walking until you see a small white house - you are almost arrived. If you have some time, you should take a look at the village of Zonza!
Go back along the same itinerary.
