The road-trip from Aléria to Solaro takes 48 minutes for 40 kilometres. You must take the road T 10 and the D 845 one. You can park your car in the car park of the post office.
Description
Solaro is the southernmost village in the Haute-Corsica department. This village is part of the Regional natural park of Corsica and it represents a good starting point for many hikes towards the peaks of Bavella and the forest of Tova. This walk lets you discover the state forest and in particular its flora: the path is well marked in yellow and is perfect for families with children.
After having parked your car you must leave behind you the D 845 road at the first crossroads and take the path which climbs up towards the south. At the end of this path, you must take a small path which will bring you to a crossroads: follow the signs and take the wider path on your right. Continue walking until you reach a hairpin bend: turn left and continue northwards. At the junction with the D 845 road you must turn right to return to the starting point.
